Precious human life, tantamount,

Achievers claim victory surmount,

Forget bystanders, applause, clap,

Struggle equivalent success slap, (1)

 

Attempt repeated falters ridicule,

Ambit of ambition tactfully tackle,

Success, failure, spectacle debacle,

Victorious defeated life entangle, (2)

 

Incredible effort, spirited practice, 

Practice dreams practice, justice,

The time comes fruits, tree to bear fruits,

Not before the hell of efforts recruits, (3)

 

Sudden, all of a sudden practice, 

Excellent results, recruited price,

Sportsman, candidate for exams,

Life provides, challenged harms, (4)

 

Impolite, indecent, stupid nature, 

Blame guidelines, rules stricture,

Sadly, witness crestfallen spirits,

People dishonor consequent hits, (5)

 

Watched a guy, from a close angle,

Prepared to act as a mentor mingle,

Innumerable discussion lessons,

Countless warnings, precautions, (6)

 

He learned well-admitted faults,

Strict rule advice less he revolts,

Confide today the fallen bird fly,

Passed competitive exam, reply, (7)

 

He succeeds in interviewing credible,

Ample scope of future, pitiable,

Distanced, willfully arrogant, wit,

Started insulting people implicitly, (viii)

 

His unsuccessful youth insults,

Vengeance stupidity with worse results,

Watching him sadly negative life,

His word to staff colleague knife, (9)

 

Ego captured his mind, blinded,

Junior officers ridiculed, raided,

Surprised who knew him, angry,

Distanced to punish him hungry, (10)

 

Worried but lost relationship sad,

Yet a senior officer, now drunkard,

Smokes, drinks, a lost character,

His womanizing nature caricature, (11)

 

His family and children quit quickly,

Wait patiently, his downfalls simply,

Incidentally, meet him at a parlor,

Drunk shifted to his home secure, (12)

 

In the morning, surprised, he inquired,

He found being scolded inspired,

False expiations fabricated share,

Slapped him with blind rage hire, (13)

 

Stop fooling everybody with blasphemy,

You are destroying yourself, your enemy,

Your wife separated, kids distant,

What's left in your life expectant? (14)

 

Ludicrous thought belief hardens,

Precious life, treat flower garden,

Ludicrous arrogance position pity,

Annihilate ego, a black rose, pretty. (15)

Far from conflicts erupts crisis,

Unheard of bitter war skirmish,

Unscrupulous behavior, absent,

Manipulative tactics, acting saint, (1)

 

Phenomenon visible, wise lives,

Immensely rich, educated hives,

Beehives, a hundred stories high,

Lifeless metal roads, asphalt, a lie, (2)

 

Spider net narrow lanes curious,

Packed cars, bikes, life crisscross,

Busy is life clock dictates totally,

Congested million lives work ally, (3)

 

There is sport, celebration dwell,

Arterial artificial parks time hail,

A plethora of flower plants colored,

Green fields soft water showered, (4)

 

Respite for caged birds chatting,

Long lines for cinema hall sting,

There, stay, polite and decent family,

There, hide, cheat, mafia, unruly, (5)

 

There stay police watch the city,

Twenty-four hours duty life pity,

There runs, moving bus or train,

Connecting to cities visit strain, (6)

 

Concepts salary retired pension,

Innumerable banks, pretension,

The change lives richer shatter,

Sink at times a bank life flutter, (7)

 

Miracle of modern times shines,

Sad incident of murder defines,

Unthinkable crimes terrify lives,

Prefer a million lives, still thrives, (viii)

 

Puzzles migrant life throng long,

The slum worth watching wrong,

Noting they get only poverty link,

Untimely death, illiteracy to blink, (9)

 

Far from glittering city abode tell,

Lives rustic villages cluster detail,

Surround verdure pristine scenic,

Fresh air, clean water, fruits, tonic, (10)

 

Simple believing folks, quiet life,

Desist to quarrels, resist strife,

They tolerate and accommodate well,

May happen flood dry spell dwell, (11)

 

Simple life a few dresses sample,

Thatched cottages, dishes ample,

Twelve months equal festival lit,

Variety of cakes, sweets, excite, (12)

 

Here flows the river serenity tilt,

Melt young heart river boat lit,

Bathing Ghats farmlands lined,

Happiness, peace, visible, refined, (13)

 

Attract nearby forest hill valley,

At par with paradise, sight tally,

Good education yet scrupulous,

Carry the culture custom onus, (14)

 

The spine of the land, peasant,

Harvest season, smell pleasant,

Awe-inspiring village life exotic,

Equable, equitable, empathetic. (15)

GAIETY

 

 

The darkness of night frightened life,

Silence piercing energizes strife,

A juvenile heart lacks thrills, visible,

Search for a job, shelter looks simple, (1)

 

Milling crowds, busy streets, malls,

Alas, vehicle, pedestrian footfalls,

Born in this city, once considered,

Immense opportunities preferred, (2)

 

Gold medal postgraduate, honor,

Parents, friends, teachers clamor,

Demanded plum post, career tuff,

Walk every nook and corner huff, (3)

 

The interview panel polished sick,

Sick, the youth felt, the eyes prick,

Probed status, family, disastrous,

The degree certificate fails callous, (4)

 

Fail to impress during interviews,

Pals got employment link rescues,

Uncle, a minister, the senior officer, calls,

Telephones achieve tasks strolls, (5)

 

Surprised to watch youth bearded,

Out-of-focus eyes walk threaded,

The confidence gaiety visibly lost,

Sadly marked his life merits cost, (6)

 

Priceless possession, profession,

He deserved to lead a life notion,

Should be honored respected fit,

His position credentials explicit, (7)

 

But contrary to his ability, efforts failed,

From parents or teachers, life derailed,

Notice him at the bar, drunk laughs,

Smokes, he intermittently coughs, (viii)

 

Remorse felt to hear from parents,

He returns home very late, scents,

The sad downfall of a promising kid,

Society is less bothered to get rid, (9)

 

Very well knows the youth, fond,

Even if in the mud but diamond,

Need support and care, loves a lot,

Bring up confidence, great effort, (10)

 

Invited him to family acquainted,

Gradual comfortable yet talented,

Understood all, love, caring, feelings,

Accompanied by us know likings, (11)

 

The night was different, bright, felt,

A moonlit night in the boat dwelt,

The lake, luminescent silver, quiet,

The boatman playing a flute, a duet, (12)

 

Kids were mesmerized and hungry, yet,

Returned, consoled his mind, bet,

Advised him to switch to business,

Promised to arrange loan address, (13)

 

He looked at me, believed, relieved,

A story was a decade ago, retrieved,

The youth is a big shot, a businessman,

He showed his prowess, that he can, (14)

 

The same is the lake, similar full moon,

Invited me to the boat lives bloom,

He was crying, smiling, laughing well,

Found tears in my eyes gaiety dwell, (15)

 INFUSION

 

 

 Beseech intoxicated hearts stay,

Vast multitude river of soul way,

Confluence of ancient faith host,

Converging, hundred million lust, (1)

 

Lust, far from physical life matter,

Passionate for decade wait allure,

Sacred, mythical, notional, visible,

Himalayan river, to bathe, mingle, (2)

 

Offer water to ancestors, sunrise,

Setting sun millions taking dips,

Millennia, the practice stood firm,

Salvage from birth, death, swarm, (3)

 

Invaders chained country mourn,

Land in slavery colonial conform,

Still continued the movement hit,

Time immemorial faithful entreat, (4)

 

Wait, oh spirit, look at Car Festival,

For a thousand years, people vocal,

Converge from corners of the country,

Pulling rope of chariot, dated entry, (5)

 

Mingle rich, poor, across castes all,

Allowed all religious people, recall,

People converge to the temple, ensure,

Belief pulling the chariot endure, (6)

 

Salvation only certain trusted a time,

Survived simple faith age pristine,

Torture intimidation threat failed,

Stubborn lives twilight year nailed, (7)

 

Must visit four places tipped land,

East west north south once stand,

Four temples, stone idols, ancient,

Generations for millennia incident, (viii)

 

No road help walked for centuries,

The last birth, deny worldly entries,

In modern times, wisdom, importance,

Touch the four points at least once, (9)

 

Guaranteed salvation lives peruse,

A mountain cave hostile track use,

Million visitors awe at Glacier Pillar,

Etched for generation deity stellar, (10)

 

Daunting across age, genders, trail,

To meet and pray decisions detail,

Idols only four stones, in a deep cave,

The cavern forces to crawl, save, (11)

 

Million pilgrims lo steps thousand,

Mountain caves, attractive demand,

Wished anything granted the story,

Steps at mountain slope, lives sorry, (12)

 

They sing and dance tearfully climb,

Return praising the Mother behind,

Life sprinkle colored water powder,

Smear with color paste time allure, (13)

 

Visible extraordinary mirth bright,

Moonless night light and fire sight,

Festivals stood centuries intoxicate,

Hilarious life rich and poor intimate, (14)

 

The world is the ocean, life the boat float,

The soul is a free bird, the Lord sails a boat,

Billion-plus lives celebrate the occasion,

Spectacular lives assemble infusion. (15)
