Thirsty heart, desert sands remind,

A droplet saves life, search to find,

The ocean touches the horizon haze,

Bottomless water, life never craze, (1)

 

Drink a soul salty water suffocates,

The sea is useless, humans indicate.

The river, pool, and well, cold water,

Quench thirst, sustains life, enamor, (2)

 

Verdant green paddy fields, winds,

Thrills, gentle touch, time reminds,

Submerged fields, level decreases,

Long straws ripe paddy increases, (3)

 

Waves of cornfield mustard seed

Peasants' dreamland, real indeed,

Sunflowers smile, streak sunlight,

The bountiful harvest fuels delight, (4)

 

Surrounded by coconut trees sway,

Bread and water, and fiber stay,

The sun rises among trees bright,

A paradise on Earth, great sight, (5)

 

Contrast the specter of draught,

Unfolds the secrecy, gradually trails,

Muddy water, stinking, sadly persists,

Beneath the floor disaster waits,

A lotus sprouts fragrant, permeates (3)

 

 

Fearful, opaque incident captures,

Humans sink in the dirty mud fears,

Sunlight fails to penetrate, and dark,

Fairness, faithfulness, a heart mark, (4)

 

 

Toad fish and snake the mind know,

Unfair justice, misrule slowly grows,

The mind is a dark pool yet pretending,

Plan for the debacle appears a friend, (5)

Miraculously, human life resembles,

The road without fencing crumbles,

The chasm of evil and nobility hints,
