A CANOPY OF COTTON CLOUDS

A thousand feet high, a mountain,

Edge of the cliff, the human looks,

Blue sky extends to the horizon,

Sunrise, the eastern sky is orange, (1)

 

The bush whispers secretly, swing,

Dense fog covered the Earth totally,

Invisible landscape houses trees,

Nature wears a veil of white cover, (2)

 

Opaque, a scenic sight, the river,

A white curtain blocks activities,

Humans, ferocious animals prowl,

Hideous green eyes, nails sharp, (3)

 

Dies the heart passionate loves,

Physical pleasures, the objective,

A glass of wine dances a motive,

Insatiable thirst to drink blindly, (4)

 

Unmindful or lost responsibility,

Unaware, life is short, capability,

Cacti bloom in the desert show,

Murky waters lotus bloom glow, (5)

 

A heart is stolen, trust betrayed,

Build a bridge of faith, love stayed,

Plenty of happiness or sympathy,

Such benevolence exists and helps. (6)

 

Raised war cloud, death stealing,

Savagery and ravaged life crying,

Peace and harmony exist, silent,

The world, a melodrama shocking, (7)

 

A person on the cliff perturbed,

A canopy of cotton clouds white,

The quietude, the bare elusive world,

Astonished, the place is different. (viii)
