 A PORTER AND THE DILEMMA

The wage and toil incessant effort,
A brass badge, red shirt, well, escorts,
The story of earning, yearning mix,
His tears invisible bargains, life fix, (1)

Ambiguous a solace, perspire well,
Sweat and a morsel of food, a sequel,
Unknown traveler and destination,
The baggage and burden, emotion, (2)

Kids, females, and laughter pervade,
Whistles a train, time masquerade,
He rarely meets the passenger feel,
The secret of human dreams reveals (3)

A luggage of gold, assets, and dress,
Attachment deceives ensure losses,
Upon his head fails to touch clearly,
His life, carrying goods, a melancholy, (4)

The shanty, a hut, happiness fuels,
Abode of peace, nothingness dwells,
Strikes hunger, sickness, a predator,
Crowds at the platform, the savior, (5)

Recover from calamity, rebuild fine,
Infinite patience, successful, define,
Witness union happy tear, immune,
The pain of a separation, and fume (6)

The drama of human life performs,
Exists, a sole observer at platforms,
Confused and bemused, witnesses,
The realm, realize, illusory, impress, (7)

Remember the timings, perfect, well.
Arrival and departure, match sequel,
A porter and the dilemma, touching,
Entwine his life and a soul searching. (viii)
