FINDING SOLACE

Loses dream gold and desires life,
Misses friend, foes troubles strife,
Minarets of sand castle crumble,
Remorse captures mind grumbles, (1)

Lost reputation, name, and fame,
Ignominy, ignoramus, fate same,
Forgotten laughter and smile, life,
Face morass, mirage horror strife, (2)

Solitary present, the past reminds,
Path of life, the quicksand unkind,
Shrouded dark cloud, and sorrow,
Search peace desperately burrow, (3)

Soul impassionate patient prevail,
Tomorrow's sunrise, love a sequel,
Dries warm and salty tears, smiles,
Opportunity greet, run soon miles, (4)

The contempt and grievance melt,
Hope and aspirations, a sufferer felt,
Rosy future bemoans the hurt fear,
Vibrant, precious life beauty wear, (5)

Loud clapping, praise, admiration,
Vanish melancholy, flow emotion,
The confidence and courage, well,
Happiness and satisfactions swell, (6)

Returned the glorious time belief,
Tormented heart miseries a relief,
Silent moment probes the mystery,
A chapter of the book, the history, (7)

Walking face the crossroad, blinks,
Finding solace, fortunately, thinks,
Faced the untimed squall storms,
Consolidate wounded soul, some. (viii)
