LONG LIFE

A hundred years to live, eyesight,
Humans aspire to dream and delight,
The newborn is crying and inhaling first,
Air comes within cycles, the last (1)

Millions of cycles breathing tell,
The longest life lived mesmerizes well,
Still, a longer name exists, astonishing.
Physical remains, shorter, perish (2)

Child to youth, adult, old age line,
Long life, human wish fit and fine,
The shadow becomes longer and taller,
Mysterious human life yet smaller, (3)

Watching a river flowing, the path is long,
Rain in the mountain, listen to songs,
Finds the flowing water like seas,
Lose its identity merges destinies, (4)

Cycles of the river centuries flow,
Human breathing air merges slowly,
Lose its identity, long life path, well,
Long life of river or human prevail, (5)

Observes mountain peaks lasting,
A thousand years stood forecasting,
Long life has ended, fragmented,
Pours water and cracked, dented (6)

Standing on the beach, golden sand,
Who knows the rocky peaks seen land?
Long life of the mountain to human fit,
Game of the Almighty smile delete, (7)

Two leaves today, a hundred feet tall,
Raised from the ground with soil recall,
Live for a century and confide in humans,
Long life is a belief that vanishes one, (viii)
