THE GIFT OF LIFE

Writing the poem with tears, realized,
Writing the letters in blood, surprised,
Life and blood are interrelated, essential,
Malnourished, less blood consequential, (1)

Tears and sweat are linked to blood, well,
The heart pumps, circulates in veins, tells,
Symptom of life breathing blood fuel,
Energy of the human replenishes dwell, (2)

Soldier shed blood at a frontier, brave,
Protects the countrymen, boldly saves,
Donate blood, a divine duty to the sick, dying,
Lives up, recover the life, time-defying (3)

A family for generations, inherits blood,
The same feature natures duly accord,
Grandfather, father, and children discover,
The human departs, but blood forever, (4)

Keep the race, culture, and perfect lifestyle,
Descendants carry in vein, not fragile,
Siblings of the same blood fight bitterly,
Property matters harm life critically, (5)

Skin is black, brown, yellow, and white,
Eyes green or black, the same eyesight,
Casts, creeds, and religion divide hell,
Color of blood red, discrimination yell, (6)

Animal slaughter blood is red, amazing.
Non-violence breeding cattle, all images,
Blood causes brightness to shine a life,
Depleted bloodlessness presents strife (7)

Life is precious, and blood donations exist.
Gift of life links a love, refuses to resist,
Who saves the human life, God knows.
Gracefully, life is indebted to a dying show. (viii)
