The rosy dream romantic night,

Wings of memory touch delight,

Many a promise earnest remind,

The silk chord of longing rewinds, (1)

 

Rekindle sympathetic hearts tell,

United the bond, happily prevail,

Promise kept and stays unbroken,

Eyes spoke volumes, soul woken, (2)

 

Pink letters expressed love well,

Preserved in the drawer prevail,

Solved doubts, suspicions, paint,

Lips quiver, confidence anoints, (3)

 

Presumed sugary life a fantasy,

The reality winked, feel ecstasy,

The moonlit night is silvery quiet,

The couple, hand in hand, duet. (4)

 

Step by step, the ladder of life,

Finger hold tightly dispel strife,

Year rolled time steal memory,

The married life finds no worry, (5)

 

Ivory bracelets, bangles, saree,

Long black hair, life was free,

The mirror and vermilion exist,

A man and better-half coexist, (6)

 

Faced troubles, pain, and hurt.

Bright tomorrow, hope to escort,

Sunset, crimson hues, sky red,

Twilight years events pervade. (7)

 

Masquerade depression fully,

Legacy leads happiness, lovely,

Profound peace, union, souls,

The man and wife, as time rolls, (viii)
