SORROWS AND SOLACE

Golden river and the lake captivate,
Dazzles, traps the heart timid, quiet,
Underneath the darkness pervades,
The bottom contrasts the glory fade (1)

Lurks fear and terrifies, swirling wave,
Limited scope to escape hand waves,
The rock bottom of life story, scary, exists
Rescuing drowning human life resists (2)

Snow peaks sunrise, an avalanche hit,
The ice cover traps and destiny meet,
Mirage tempts a thirsty soul, quicksand,
Humans lose lives, a few understand, (3)

Amass wealth, an ivory castle, swell,
Fame and fortune, pivotal, turn, dwell,
Lose kith and kin or skipped the event,
Agony accompanies, life suffers, lament, (4)

The pink future cast light and stolen,
The upheaval and downfall frighten,
The branches are leafless, dry twig fall,
Broken nest bird fled, moonless call, (5)

Penchant for fragrances, the flowers,
Hungry to dance in the rain, showers,
Chilling win ice-clad landscape freeze,
Overflowing happiness warmth cease, (6)

Nostalgic, vibrant youth twilight show,
Auburn hair eyeglasses time pass know,
The wheel of time remotely back true,
Impermanence underneath life views, (7)

Came alone to the mysterious world,
Truth to return, linger thirsts, a word,
A utopia bewitched in front of a morass,
Essence prevails sorrows and solace. (viii)
