THE NADIR OF LIFE

The gorge, water flows like a rapid,

The perpetual darkness, an insipid,

Silence rules, inescapable dungeon,

Absent the azure sky, miss pigeons, (1)

 

The greenery, mountains, and valleys,

Beyond the horizon, search, lovely,

Thrills of rain-soaked, dance, song,

The place surrounds a misery throng, (2)

 

Sunshine dazzle, dew-laden grass,

Gems, apparent, cast allure, a class,

White clouds sail, lazily, bird songs,

Flows the dark water sight wrong, (3)

 

Human life at the gorge looks up,

A yacht afloat with courage to hope.

Escape out of the tunnel, whisper,

Rays of challenge, fight, endeavor, (4)

 

Comparable to the downfall, a nadir,

Vaporize fame and fortune terrify,

Melts resounding applause, tense,

Surrounds loneliness, a soul sense, (5)

 

Trepidation uncertainty suppress,

Humiliation, rebuttal, or oppression,

No sympathy, consolation, a hand,

Rock bottom, fate, life understand, (6)

 

It is the beginning point to march,

Human touches the zenith, watch,

The deep gorge and peak of a hill,

Life path of human vertical reveal, (7)

 

A step to rise and rise to the top,

Glorious story of passage or hope,

The nadir of life fuels a dream, well,

Achieves the mission victory dwell. (viii)
