Diwali night lighted bright skies,

Fountain of fire spark life defies,

Opulence invisible, visible jovial,

Bystanders watch fireworks viral,(1)

 

Infectious smiles, eyes glinting grief,

Their homes were dark, disbelief,

The sky was lighted with rocket crackers,

Red, yellow, sparks light ushers, (2)

 

Awestruck, the children observed,

Mesmerizing moment preserved,

Prosperity gold mansions bright,

Electricity-decorated oil lamp lit, (3)

 

Light rows of lamps fire-cracker,

Children and parents enjoy enamor,

Stood kids on the road lack dress,

Cold night acrid smells depress, (4)

 

Looked patiently to collect a few,

Fire-cracker fail to burst, new,

Lack money, kids picked crackers,

Next morning to burst, for years, (5)

 

That will be their Diwali, bread,

Ignorant of sweets, dishes, dress,

She observed minutely cried fled,

Knew her a senior teacher, head, (6)

 

Her life single professor renown,

Helping poor students in the town,

Famous build lives taught freely,

Her students are established silly, (7)

 

Forgot soon their teachers simply,

Observing Diwali nights jovially,

Forgot their root, upbringing fit,

Brought their children fire light, (viii)

 

Sizzling new dresses, ornaments,

Female brighter than lire laments,

She was sick for weeks on leave,

Watched with me Diwali believe, (9)

 

Lighted not outside inner world,

Diwali inner realization emerald,

Sparks of wisdom lighten the mind,

Humanity perceives human find, (10)

 

She was sitting with me and explained,

Alerted, breathing hard, exclaimed,

Quietly, she whispered it was time,

Her last few seconds words primes, (11)

 

The cheque to me signature signed,

Saved hundred millions resigned,

Handed over to me donation cheque,

Requested me to donate, quake, (12)

 

Donate to shelter home orphanage,

Her last words Diwali night edge,

She was silent, lifeless, contribute,

Her pyre was burning, love absolute, (13)

 

Changed my life through her contribution,

The millions of money her devotion,

Her fireworks on Diwali night assured,

Children less parents, future allure, (14)

 

Money spent on food, clothes, study,

Diwali euphoria lives in custody,

Diwali night knowledge graced,

Sycophancy hurts, attitude naive,

Glittering lives, glorious life crave,

Altogether different, look-alikes say,

Gold jewelry shines truthful sway, (1)

 

Truth is bitter often, enmity creates,

Glorious life, humanity, less threat,

Out of question exploitation loves,

Inhabit glory human heart solves, (2)

 

Fountain of love eyes glint, smile,

Glitter envy green eyes pose style,

Immaculate dress polished tongue,

Deceives believing heart sad song, (3)

 

Convinced, he continues advising,

Generation paradigm change ring,

Children owed to the glittering realm,

Million a few earn overnight calm, (4)

 

Say a few words, smile, act mint gold,

Glorious life serves country mold,

Pointed, he cautioned his children,

Thirst for money lust is sin drain, (5)

 

Pollute character, purity, exists, say,

Money sweeter than honey a play,

Mad world, mad wild heart, baits,

Lottery, chit fund, bets, portraits, (6)

 

Hanker children's heart wealth wit,

Glittering shows four walls defeat,

Riches to rag reverses destroyers,

Think children recognize spoilers, (7)

 

They drink wine, smuggle, bets, soul,

Human life is not for gold, different a goal,

Serve others selfless extract smile,

Wipe tears and clean dirt help a senile, (viii)

 

Lives the Lord in them live to serve,

Glorious life, belong to you, deserve,

That was the advice of that father, sad,

Children grow up soon change bad, (9)

 

Forgot their parents, childhood alive,

Forgotten glitter to glory, disbelieve,

Left home minted gold affluent all,

Parents in the village, father cry recall, (10)

 

Noble was a teacher, built lives,

Brilliant school students it revives,

His words golden valuable to gold,

Hundreds of his disciples it mold, (11)

 

Children rejected him prosperous,

His life kept him aloof, miraculous,

Passed his life and wife, simplicity,

Villagers respect them, say, ability, (12)

 

Worship both as Guru and Mother,

Touch their feet and treat them as saviors,

Children of the village studied higher,

Knowledgeable got famous quicker, (13)

 

Their respect and gratitude are visible, sad,

Lost the parent children less mad,

Treated school kids like their children,

Both had pilgrimage last note golden, (14)

 

Addressed to their children chose recluse,

Letter to each of them glory amuse,

Children failed to find them socked,

Generation fails gold words mocked. (15)

Revives romanticism, ages prods,

Dismantle dormant intention lit,

Reject lethargy, agile heart defeat, (2)

 

Watch the sunrise orange sky invites,

Colored blue sea glowing, excites,

Stupefied, disbelieve, leaf sprouts,

Lifeless rock, dews soaked routs, (3)

 

Green lives greenish nature yell,

Autumn superlative, revive trail,

Wild grass failed adoration glow,

Colorful flower blossoms show, (4)

 

Vibrant smiling scenic sight sail,

Rock and flower youngness nail,

Discover spring life flowering fit,

Passionate thoughts, airy, delight, (5)

 

Survive like rock water air links,

Human body limb spring winks,

Compared with wildflower lovely,

Inherit passion benign solemnly, (6)

 

The human heart is passionate, learns,

Educator honey bee flies scorns,

Flower fragrant live for a day exists,

Wait, sunlight, beaming joy, excites, (7)

 

Short a life lingering effect stays,

Passion to meet sunshine, essays,

Wither human life stinking note,

Live, cows give milk, feed children,

Grew kids stronger, less shaken,

Breed cows, cow dung fertilizes,

Fertile soil bountiful crop raises, (9)

 

Serves cow to humans signifies,

Killing cows, mercy, life dignifies,

Breed, well sustainable, flourish,

Cattle link gold action feverish, (10)

 

Passion, prosperity, growth, peace,

Passion brotherhood time wish,

Passion cruelty behold a rock,

Reduces rock to pebble to sand,

Fluidity melting heart life stand,

Sacrificial attempt, cruel, discard,

Survival instinct, imitate, reward, (12)

 

Passion deletes hunger, poverty,

Stop today freezes living beings,

The living idol of clay mortal walk wit,

Rock idol symbolizes immortal light,

Inflame never blood flesh but wail,

Human guards nature earth crew,

Remove darkness moonless knife,

Flower creator gifted garland hail,

Offer garland flower Hindu detail, (12)

 

Love Diwali celebrates lights, lamps,

Cruelty, hatred, evil practice damps,

An enlightened soul recreates beauty,

Bonhomie brotherhood live amity, (13)

 

Diwali occasion inner light glows,

Rejuvenate life, accentuate vows,

I live a dedicated life, surrender savvy,
