THE SMOKE REVEALS

 

The amber, burning charcoal, and fire,

Hidden underneath, an invisible inquiry,

Mysterious, the human heart displays,

Tight-lipped, silent mind, a hurt stays, (1)

 

Conflict views, asymmetric thinking,

Averted eyes look down, life sinking,

Shed quarrel, objection, bitter fights,

Human nature prefers the selective right (2)

 

Unchangeable vain effort to negotiate,

A dead wood less sprouts, instigate,

Dry leaves and wood catch fire at times,

White smoke curls up higher, defines (3)

 

Mirror the state of life, burnt wood,

Burning sadly with struggles, good,

The white smoke melts into thin air,

Outcry the soul for love in despair, (4)

 

Life scarcely burns, to foliage,

Leaves, flowers, and fruit messages,

A morning mist and fog surrounds,

No fire but moist air love rebound, (5)

 

The candle burns, and smoke pervades.

Spread light, and darkness quickly fades,

Extinguished the light smoke, stays,

Life as a wick finished deeds mock, (6)

 

The fume remnants stay for a while,

The smoke reveals, scarcely defiled,

No harm only warns, love winner,

Charcoal turns to ash, leaf enamor (7)

 

The passion and lust captivate life,

Burn in the heart, turbulence, strife,

Incense sick for the Lord, fragrant,

The heart throbs with sensation,

Molten rigidity discovers emotion,

Dreams cast fairy tales infectious,

Reverberate desires flow defy,

Turns a million stars wink allure,

Fragrant jasmine attracts enamor (2)

Lily in the pond waits for the moon,

Imagine birds chirp, souls invite,

A nest, the sweet home excites,

Hand in hand ensure life caution,

Stays undiluted love, admiration,

Hope and fear coexist, win a day,

Mingles tears and smiles display,

Matching wave in the beach ray,

Heartrending sconces, a flurry of flood,
Swept away villages, cities, and roads,
Inundate granaries, forest, landslide,
Angry rivers fearful, salvages beside, (1)

Havoc of rain impermanent assures,
The river flows quietly, time enamor,
Rebuild human, life hopeful, efforts,
Harvesting season grain field escort, (2)

Mating season, birds chirp and nest,
Bridal dress of nature, alluring, best,
Azure skies, white clouds, impress,
Colorful, flock of birds fly, timeless, (3)

Festivals here near the Puja dwell,
The pandals and vive, vibrant hails,
Bumper harvest or new year grain,
Agrarian festival offered rice again, (4)

Ten hands of the Mother provide,
Peace, prosperity, gracefully reside,
Kindness, compassion, or courage,
Love, sympathy, and wisdom craze, (5)

A couple of hands, the human asks,
Fail to receive Mother's gift, bask,
A third eye in the forehead fright,
Teaches discrimination, life fights, (6)

Riverbanks welcome the Mother,
Tall weed white fur, wave allure,

Dream, aspiration is a confluence, a flow,

A lotus seed waits to unravel, signify,

Magnificence and fragrance all defy,

Hidden, in slumber, discover futures,

In sequence, opened up time allures, (3)

 

One foot walk extends to the earth,

A step on a mountain reaches the top,

Linked with hope, courageous worth,

Fulfills the human life, a scope, (4)

 

A microbe germinates and spreads fast,

Minuscule life elements stay hideous,

Rewind, uncoil a thread, hides the past,

Secret of creation genetic furious, (5)
