DILEMMAS OF THE REVELER

Stress and depression steal the glaze,
Worry and tension man's anger blaze,
Fear and horror of terror, war frights,
Show their chest to bullet days, nights, (1)

Sacrifice their lives to protect the nation,
Nameless soldiers, murals forgotten,
Fighters, the farmers, and laborers resist,
The paradox of the society to coexist, (2)

Anomaly of wealth asset reputation,
Live anonymously, a few commotions,
The spine of the country is a pillar,
Bountiful harvest infrastructure fare, (3)

The leaders of the land, sons of soil,
Uniting people spread amity, the toil,
Grateful, a people, remember deeds,
Man and machines combine indeed, (4)

Scientists, professors, literati, artists,
Actor, pleader, politician, and novelist,
The inspiration, influence for youths,
Man stands tall, leads or guides, truths, (5)

The shadow of manhood, the jobless,
Qualified search for dignity, depress,
Shattered dream, the devastated life,
Ignominy the companion, face strife, (6)

At the crossroads, horns of a dilemma,
Modern civilization frustrates, dogma,
The acute hunger, eager to earn, sad,
The pavement dweller no roofs mad, (7)

The story of man, liberator, challenger,
The book of the courageous avenger,
Under the grave dictator and invader,
A picture of dilemmas of the reveler. (viii)
