INNOCENCE AND KINDNESS

Childhood unaware of the suffering,

Play, enjoy, feel happiness, well sing,

Unknown to their heart, life struggles,

Name or fame, fortune, time, smuggle, (1)

 

Blossoms fresh flowers, bright smile,

Touch them, turn their faces, giggle,

Bright eyes, dazzling teeth, presence,

Beyond circles of complicacy, sense (2)

 

The bitter fight, jealousy, and cruelty,

The heart is a pearl, feels not guilty,

Untouched resembles the lotus, pure,

Serenity and obedience life enamor, (3)

 

Sympathy and realization of a poor,

Share the Tiffin box water she pours,

Touch plights of pavement dwellers,

Child's benevolent mind yet allures, (4)

 

Their tears nectar drops at wounds,

A healing touch caressing surround,

Rare dream for gold, asset, property,

Need protection, love, and security 5)

 

A bright future ahead to contribute,

Achievements and awards, a tribute,

Spine of the country shows support,

Unseen faction rivalry rules rapport, (6)

 

Memory of childhood and teachers,

Playground of the school reminder,

A tall tree, and shade, decent wind,

Reminiscence slow motion yet find, (7)

 

Learned responsibility and burden,

Innocence and kindness live yearn,

The child rejects all discrimination,

Parental care advice adds emotion. (viii)
