UPSETS THE HEART

The deprivation is not a curse for life,
Hunger stays, lack means face strife,
Fractured brick walls, thatched roof,
No electricity, oil lamp struggle proof, (1)

Books, notebooks, and pens prevail,
A child dreams of the future, well,
Her hard work, painstaking solution,
Result in the offing-excellent lotion, (2)

She walked miles to attend a school,
No road, muddy path, yet water full,
The hot sunshine rains winter creep,
Unfailing, she weathered life, sweep, (3)

No teacher guided her attention,
Memorize topics, write all solutions.
Missed her life in the nature blue sky,
Buffalo, bullock, ship in hoard defy, (4)

The veranda, her sit, family at work,
Concentrate her mind, a future lurks,
The scenario of yesteryear etched,
Left the village for city life to sketch, (5)

Success brought prosperity, stability,
Forgot her parents, attendability,
Uncanny sense of home or assets,
Change her life, a name she quest, (6)

Materialize her dreams sequence,
Surround loneliness, stay pretense,
No worry, plenty of wealth and luxury,
Lack peace and pleasure in life, sorry, (7)

From rags to riches, she often thinks,
Upset the heart, emptiness hints,
Wealth, fame prosperity vanish,
Without everything life cherishes. (viii)
