SEMAPHORE OF DOUBT

 

Between the horns a dilemma stay,

At a crossroads to progress, dismay,

Hope and frustration coexist, show,

Success and failure, the river flows, (1)

 

The sores are parallel and fail to meet.

The human mind acquires colors, greets,

When anger burns within the temper,

Quiet and calm state lives recover, (2)

 

Patiently wait, impatient heart yells,

Mere sight of her love doubt quells,

Many emotions, pain to confess,

Fails to open her heart, in distress, (3)

 

The couple met and gossiped but lost.

She forgot to tell Agony the most,

How much she loves him and cares,

Her shyness and silence failed to dare (4)

 

Union separation life path detects,

Rock between hearts and suspect,

Melts grudge, forgets hurt, reveals,

Mere touch, the sensations heal, (5)

 

Continue tears rolling down, sips,

A tender hand, soft finger wipes lips,

Convey abiding trust, love entwined,

Hands joined head on his chest, win, (6)

 

The river of conjugal life fascinates,

The serenity understanding relates,

Seasons: summer, spring, and winter,

Rain comes, love is distant, appears, (7)

 

Her magnetic pull is love, desperate,

Rain-soaked limbs and smiles indicate,

Semaphore of doubt replaces hope,

Summary of a married life: a scope. (viii)
