Adoration, adulation, and admiration,

Life accepts overwhelm, a fascination,

Surprise revises impressions shaken,

Pretensions where exist mask taken, (1)

 

Bud falls in fog, and a hailstorm rocks,

Ripening paddies wither dries socks,

Bright morning sunshine, blue skies,

At dawn, it is pouring, the rain defies (2)

 

Lotus waits for the sun, the moon,

Eternal, it's waiting to touch, light soon,

Search a place of love, heart deny,

Subtle feeling lives in the soul defy, (3)

 

Like, next dislike and compromise,

Crisscross paths of trust, surprise,

Belief and doubt play mischief, sway,

Her mind evoked thoughts, display (4)

 

Her love showed passion and care,

Nightlong, they sat, gossiped, fair,

Canvassing pain miseries consoled,

Wait in the full moon, and resolved, (5)

 

The thread of love tied, life seeks,

Snatches a bond, and fear creeps,

Stood alone, lonely solitude grabs,

Warmth of companionship, traps, (6)

 

Leaves murmur, whisper, confirm,

His arrival for her, a faith affirms,

Moist the lips, tears dried, aspire,

Moon dust silvery lights conspire, (7)

 

Elate your tender heart, slim life,

Inner conflict stays, erases strife,

Life is a rainbow of colors, conflict,

Overjoyed, rain-soaked life inflicts. (viii)
