A BIRD LOST ITS NEST
The mating season that a pair had chosen,
Swoop from
the sky to a branch soon,
Thick
foliage, strong trunk, stick loom
Weave
miraculously their nest a boon, (1)
They fledged
hatched, and chicks chirp,
Fulfilled the
tiny lives happiness watch,
Mother bird
watchful, and others collect,
A morsel of food to the beak, life direct, (2)
An
unfortunate occasion, the sun sinks,
Beyond the
horizon and west, sadly linked,
A canopy of
darkness, mist, and storms,
The bird lost its track of human life norms (3)
Birds in the
nest wait silently but fail,
Miss forever
search everywhere, yelled,
No sign of
the bird, the chicks fled quickly,
Food is the
prime reason found meekly, (4)
The bird lost
its nest to discover the tree,
Empty was the
nest, an abode test free,
Lacked the
energy to be paired for a season,
Spring has left winter in a life with no reason (5)
The fall, dry
leaves no trace of flowers,
Fruits were
taken away, hope showers,
A million
birds, flying in flocks, invited,
Join with them, a ghost of the past, excited, (6)
The mural
pertains to broken homes,
Agony of
kids' desperation, gruesome,
They wait
behind their sweet home,
Father lost
his home and never came (7)
Amazing life,
kids renew miraculously,
The Lord
plays the game mysteriously,
The human
mind loses track of a mission,
A bird lost its nest, not a rare omission. (viii)
