THE LOST HORIZON
A surreal feeling still
waters the west,
The sun sank into orange hues at best,
Silhouette of the boat and boatman,
Anchoring after the day, a fisherman (1)
Lose sight of the horizon in darkness,
An unknown depth of the sea impresses,
Under the feet, water, sand, gravel, feel,
Mesmerizing a mural, sufferings heal, (2)
Unmoving cloud spectral beams, rays,
Unearthly, a picture intoxicates, arrays,
Silence engulfing slowly, stars winking,
A confluence of peace and love sings, (3)
Spreads loneliness stood and looked,
A day passed, surprised and hooked,
Lost endless thoughts but dream life,
Human pleasure fails to express thrive (4)
Feel uncomfortable expressing a pain,
Hidden inside the heart and tear rain,
Leaving me, the world sank, recovered,
In the darkness, search for you to discover, (5)
Lost the fragrance, soothing voice, love,
Your adorable presence soon dissolves,
Hope and hopelessness entwine sadly,
The boat of my life anchored radically, (6)
Wait the whole night for you, certain,
At dawn sun will rise, you shall return,
better to view the sea, the horizon, say,
Conflict, confiscate understanding play, (7)
His melodious and touching thoughts,
He lost his horizon, but morning brought,
Visible blue sky, a boatman left the shore,
Human life as a fisherman, net assured. (viii)
