BEYOND THE BORDER

She gave the flesh and blood in love,
Her milk and baby grow, cry resolves,
The shanty, unruly matted hairs pour,
Alone in the world, with a child here, (1)

Slim figure, probing eyes, hand extends,
Coins a morsel of food never pretend,
The pang of an empty belly, hunger pain,
Cries of the baby, in the arms, remain (2)

Another world parallel exists, surprises,
The darkness, no future, the night rises,
Inexpressible sorrows, misery, no hope,
Pavement, her world to survive a scope, (3)

The border between flourishing lives,
Invincible, the barrier, hardly believes,
The human is a blessed child of God,
The world is His creation stays absurd (4)

The other side of the wall, happiness, love,
Care, compassion, help, selfless, solve,
Visible luxury, leisure, gold, and a mansion,
She looks, her entry prohibited, awesome, (5)

Life is not a path of thorns to pierce,
Conjugal life is a bed of roses, no fears,
They have a dream, passion, aspiration,
To rise higher their goal, a fascination, (6)

She takes a breath, and darkness covers.
Impregnable the border hardly allures,
The two shores of the river can never meet,
They walk with boots, and she is barefoot. (7)

Dawn to dusk, the east and the west order,
Night opposite day, beyond the border,
Moon rose, dog barks, her baby asleep,
She cannot cross a border water is deep. (viii)
