GOLD ALLURE

 

Puzzle humans' minds, gold lures well,

Acute desire to possess lusts prevail,

Prevails bad dreams, quicksand traps,

From failure and trouble peril swaps, (1)

 

The yellow luster pseudo temptation,

Ornament from metal contemplation,

Fantasy illusive fallacy hidden grows,

Attempts, human to get pitiably shows, (2)

 

Know the quagmire metal suffocates,

Fly out of hand quickly communicate,

Still, the mind turns a slave hunt jewel,

Reality of the world is false effort fails, (3)

 

Confluence of dream and desire, a pit,

The human runs after lifelong, and grit.

Disappointment, devastation follow,

That dazzles a metal metaphor hollow, (4)

 

Provide wealth, prosperity, and life belief,

Result of hard labor, sadly, acts sheave,

Countless sorrows and sadness stay,

Crumble human life terrifying, display, (5)

 

How many brides tortured, scars play,

The evil, lust for gold, inhumanity stay,

Eons, kingdoms were looted or burned,

Hunting gold diamond humans mourn, (6)

 

Parameters, fluctuating economy, soon,

Rises the gold value, perfect the boon,

At the early dawn, the price grounded,

Humans' survival, miss asset, shrouded, (7)

 

Humans fail to learn, metal not for life,

Absence of food, water, bleak, survive,

Primal peace, happiness, love, distant,

Deception fuels, gold allure incessant. (viii)
