 WINGS OF DESIRE

Passionate heart, imagines golden,
Emerald islands and coconut trees,
White sand, turquoise water glisten,
The azure sky soaring birds breeze, (1)

Far off from milling crowds, metros,
Distant from human miseries owes
Bright sunshine and surrounding peace,
Absent the noise dust humans wish, (2)

No chain of fear, worries, and agony,
The nature and human life, harmony,
Forgotten responsibility and burden,
Scarcely terrify nightmare, cauldron, (3)

The blue ocean, corals, marine life,
In the bottom, dark world, life thrives.
Smitten, the sight expands to the horizon,
Unknown ships cruise refuses reason, (4)

Many a dream, aspiration, stay, grow,
Why do humans fight for wealth? show,
Quicksand of temptation traps easily,
Sink hope and love live sorrows sadly, (5)

Unspeakable pain and torture trouble,
Vain ego and arrogance, love smuggle,
Remorseless thoughts quiet and calm,
Healing wounds consolations embalm, (6)

Wanton desires for fame and fortune,
To grab by hook or crook, opportune,
Failure causes a distress disaster nearer,
Nature invites serene life, pacify, allure, (7)

Settled the mind found clues, solitude,
Wings of desire soar high, an attitude,
Paradise is the reality unfolding soon,
Peace, bliss, and pleasure, the boon. (viii)
