THE SPIRIT THRIVES

Incredible life fosters peace to grow,

Displays resilience, struggles show.

Indomitable courage fights, unite,

Safe and secure Earth and excite, (1)

 

A cloud of violence and anarchy hit,

Coexistence, compromises defeat,

Accommodate or heal the wound,

Fraternity, or friendship surrounds, (2)

 

Hunger sickness and poverty trail,

Service to a sufferer recover, well,

Undernourished children, roofless,

Heartbroken sights sadly depress, (3)

 

Rabid prejudice, dogma, blind rule,

Crack bonhomie cement beautiful,

Education, nation-building rapport,

A prosperous country life supports (4)

 

Dedicates life to forestation hygiene,

Water conservation and air cleaning,

Literacy, female emancipation tells

Dispels extinction survival prevail, (5)

 

Protection of the border, frontier,

Sacrifice life, no hesitation, sheer,

Art and culture, song, melodrama,

Nature, a paradise or a panorama, (6)

 

Hypnotizes the land and society,

The festivals or tradition, beauty,

Born and native, the pride grows,

Memories of eventful life show (7)

 

Solemn moment, view the flame,

Life was bright, extinguish blame,

The spirit thrives, indefinite time,

The noble deeds of a soul shine. (viii)
